Itinerary Details

  • DAY 01: NAIROBI-SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

    The driver will pick you up in the morning after breakfast at around 8am and of you head for Samburu national reserve in a tour van. You will stop over for lunch on the way and arrive at the reserve early evening. You will proceed for an evening game drive and later go to the budget hotel for dinner and overnight. Budget accommodation: Camel lodge Meal Plan: [lunch and dinner]

  • DAY 02: SAMBURU FULL DAY GAME DRIVES

    The driver will pick you up from the hotel and with your picnic lunch you will depart for a game drive in the wild of Samburu national reserve. This is one of the best reserves to be in Kenya that is referred to a home for the “special five”. The Samburu community also has a village that is located within the reserve whose culture is very interesting. You will have a chance to enjoy your picnic lunch on the banks of River Ewaso Nyiro that cuts through the reserve and serves as a watering point for majority of the animals that live here.   • DAY 03: SAMBURU- LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

    Depart Samburu national reserve after breakfast towards Nakuru. The driver will stop over on the way for lunch before arriving later at Lake Nakuru national park in the evening.  Later drop off at the hotel for dinner and overnight. Budget Accommodation: City Max Hotel Meal Plan:  [breakfast, lunch and dinner]

  • DAY 04: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK-MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

    The driver will pick you up from the hotel and off for a morning game drive in the lake Nakuru national park before departing for Masai Mara national reserve with lunch en route. You will arrive at the Masai Mara National reserve arriving in the evening, upon arrival proceed for an evening game drive in the reserve and the driver will drop you off at the camp for dinner and overnight. Budget Accommodation: City Max Hotel Meal Plan: [breakfast, lunch and dinner]

  • DAY 05: MASAI MARA FULL DAY GAME DRIVES

    Your driver will pick you up from the camp site and off for a morning game drive after breakfast. You will have a chance to view a good number of animals more so the big five in their natural habitat. The reserve that lies on the savanna grassland forms a scenic view that will leave you wanting more of Masai Mara.  You will also break for your picnic lunch near the hippo pool and later visit the Masai village that is optional. The visit of the village that is within the reserve is optional and is at an extra cost.   • DAY 06: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE-NAIVASHA

    You will grab a cup of coffee/Tea at the camp site before departing for are morning game drive in the reserve for wildlife tracking before coming back to the camp for full breakfast and later departing for lake Naivasha with lunch en route. You will arrive late in the evening and the driver will drop you at the hotel for dinner and overnight. Budget Accommodation: Taphe Guest House Meal Plan: [breakfast, lunch and dinner]

  • DAY 07 :NAIVASHA – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

    Your driver will pick you up from the Hotel and proceed to hell’s gate national park for game drive and in this park we have optional Activities like an adventurous walk in the gorges, cycling all activity at an extra cost. If time allows, you can as well go for a boat ride at an extra cost at Lake Naivasha and later depart for Amboseli national park with a stopover on the way for lunch. You will arrive at the park later in the evening and the driver will drop you at the campsite for dinner and overnight. Budget Accommodation: Kimana campsite  Meal Plan: [breakfast, lunch and dinner]

  • DAY 08: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK FULL DAY GAME DRIVES

    After breakfast your tour guide/driver will pick you from the campsite and depart for a game drive with your picnic lunch in the Amboseli national park. The park is a home for huge elephants and also a nice place you can view the famous Mt Kilimanjaro only if the weather is favorable enough. After the game drive the drive will drop you at the campsite for dinner and overnight. Budget accommodation: Kimana Campsite Meal Plan: [breakfast, lunch and dinner]

  • DAY 09: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK- NAIROBI

    You will have a cup of tea or coffee before proceeding for a game drive in the Amboseli national park. There are a good number of animals, you won’t be disappointed. The driver will later take you back to the camp for full breakfast before departing for Nairobi. Arrival at Nairobi early afternoon and drop off at the airport or hotel. Accommodation: on own Meal Plan: [breakfast and lunch]
