Itinerary Details

  • DAY 01: NAIROBI- MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

    Pick up in the morning after breakfast at the hotel and dropping off at the departure point for a briefing before boarding the tour van to start the magical budget safari. Stop over at the Great Rift Valley escarpments view point before proceeding over to Narok for lunch. Later depart for the reserve take an evening game drive where you will have a chance to spot different species of animals and bird in their natural habitat.   • DAY 02: MASAAI MARA FULL DAY GAME DRIVES

    After breakfast your tour guide/ driver will pick you up from the camp site and set off for a morning game for drive and other activities that are meant to take the better part of the day. While out there you will be able to spot the different species of both mammals and birds in their natural habitat. Some of them being the famous big five and other small animals like the bush babies just to mention a few that call Masai Mara home. You will also have a chance to visit the Masai village but an extra cost. The Masai community is one of communities that have preserved their original culture in Kenya so well; this activity is optional. You will also get a chance to enjoy your picnic lunch at the hippo pool that is still within the game reserve.   • DAY 03: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE- LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

  • DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK – SAMBURU

    Pick up from your hotel by the driver/guide after breakfast for a game drive in Lake Nakuru national park. The park is a well known sanctuary for the conservation of one of the most endangered species; that is the Black and the white rhino. This is also a golden chance to see the millions of flamingoes that flock the lake giving it a spectacular look that you can’t afford to miss.   • DAY 05: SAMBURU FULL DAY GAME DRIVES

    Pick up by driver /guide from your lodge in the morning after breakfast with your picnic lunch and depart for a morning game drive in the Samburu National Reserve. You will have  chance to view some of the most rare species of animals including the reticulated giraffe, the Somali ostrich and other three all known as the special five only found in this reserve. That is not all! Samburu reserve is also a home for a number of birds, research showing that there are almost 350 species of birds in this reserve. If you are a fun of birds, then this is the place to be. You will have you picnic lunch at the banks of River Ewaso Nyiro that cuts through the reserve before proceeding over to the interesting Samburu village for a taste of the African culture.   • DAY 06: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE-NAIROBI
